This Saturday, March 23, 2011 is the 22nd birthday of one of my best friends. Her name is Meg. She lives in OH and I live in TN, so I decided to put together a little crafty birthday package to send her, since I won’t be there to celebrate with her:). Here are some pictures of my crafting fun over the past week.
Meg, in case you hadn’t figured it out yet… these projects are the result of all the mysterious errands I’ve been running:)
Decorative Moleskin Journals!!
I also added some white, dark, and milk chocolate-covered espresso beans… who wouldn’t like those?! yum. :)
So, Meg, I hope you were surprised and enjoyed your crafty birthday package!! You are so important to me and I am abundantly thankful for your friendship and presence in my life:).
Our Father in Heaven, thank you for Megan. Thank you for knowing her before you formed her and for loving her before she even heard your name. Thank you for blessing my life with her presence, counsel, friendship, and laughter. Use this year to form her more into the image of your Son and renew her mind in the knowledge of you. Give her a disdain for conformity to the world and magnify her desire to renounce her flesh and seek your Spirit. May you use her so that your word may speed ahead and others’ eyes, minds, and hearts may be turned toward you through your work in Megan. All this for your glory and in Jesus’ name, Father. Amen.
Meg, for this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your heart through faith–that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have the strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Eph 3:14-21)
